On a corsa sri 93 really struggling to get it into 5th gear in fact i barely cant is this the gearbox on the way out? HELP???

check ur clutch pedal is level wit the accelerator?

the clutch pedal should sit slightly higher than the brake pedal according to my MR Haynes Manual

Which 'pin' is it that gives trouble? The gears on my birds corsa as sloppy as.. ahem..

is it likely that this is the problem and not needing a new gear box im panicking cos iv just called vauxhall and they want over £1200 for a new one and thats with my old one in exchange!!!

my gear box os protty stiff. its hard to get it into 1st sometimes and occasion it won't quite go into reverse properly.
