I was looking at 1 today but is only reads from 40db to 130db. I'm thinking this will not b enough.

Can any of u help

Have a butchers at www.casella.co.uk and/or give them a bell. Then can come out and measure stuff for ya...although its gonna cost ya a wee packet.
As for soundlevel meters, you gonna be looking at about 3 grand (over here) for one that can measure higher than 150db...and thats a hand held jobby. Although it all depends on the microphone used and thats why most of them are expensive

Obviously unless you are thinking of setting it up at every cruise around or if you have a local ICE shop you could partner with, your not gonna make your money back easily.

cheers no the 1 i was looking at was 59 quid, cheap compared to that lot. i jus wanted 2 get it for a reading. prob better 2 jus pay sum 1 to get a reading done.

that one i showed was from the termpro site, official dB Drag Racing measuring gear.
