Quite a few people have had problems with the USB ADSL modems, with increased ping times, systems overheating, excessive CPU use etc. It is probably better to get an RJ45 connection on it, but if you really want to use the standard BT USB modem then there is a router available which has a USB port designed to use that modem. I think its from www.seg.co.uk but i cant seem to find the right model on their site.
