what sort of price would and engine conversion be?
from a 1.4 16v to a 1.6 16v.
just looking for a really rough price before i ring round.
or would it be worth doing myself?

all you will need is the engine itself (and ECU dunno), so you should be able to pick one up for little money, and its a straight swop. so maybe 400-600 ish.

only engine can get 1 for about 300 quid, would be straight swop sure u could do it

lol theres been a bit of a vary here, 300 - 900. if its a straight swap i rekon i could do it, but then again need my car all time apart from sunday. could i do it in a day, baring in mind i wouldnt know where to start . . .
