i need to get it tracked as had the bearings done recently and the tracking is really off!!

ive been to 2 garages and they said its too damn low!!!!

i can raise the front a fair amount as its adjustable, but not the rear???

what could i do??
any garages that do tracking for very low cars near west london??

i have that truble with mine, had to take it to a local bodyshop, they managed to do as they made a ramp from wood, they managed to set the tracking but the steering wheel is still off centre

must be some garages that have low ramps for cars that are really low??

what if i raise the front??

could raise the front, but then when you lower it again, its going to alter the tracking again

i went to a place where they drove the car over this plate thing and it got a measurement of how much the tracking was out. no idea how it worked though.

Have you tried anywhere that specialises in aftermarket alloys, cos theres a place near me and they have got this fancy laser thing...

well long as its more or less correct, because right now it swerves to the right when holding the wheel straight and the camber is off also!!

what is actually involved in the tracking, ive never had it done before???
my car is quite low, the rear arch goes well over the tyre, and the front goes over a bit, but i could raise the front 3-4 inches easily, higher than standard, would it go on the ramp then??

we have tracking gauges that alloy you to track the car on the floor, if you raise it up to track it then lower it again youll mess with the angles

i had the same trouble i was lucky enough to find a garage that could manage it.

try a perfromance garage as there ramps are usual made for low cars

reverse the car onto the ramp! goes on easy then.

I use a Garage called Protyre. They have ramps that are flush with the floor. Ideal for my car

you can use any tracking guages on the floor..........just have2 jack it up, then adjust it....

or use planks of wood to help get you on the ramp...i have2 do this daily

duno what ill do about the brake rollers for mot tho

use lenghts of wood? is that not common sense,the car is then goin up a less steep of a gradient !!!

I had this problem years ago. I took it to a garage that used the old stlye side mounting tracker.

we have flush ramps and laser guages however if you r car is real low have to be ble to fit the guage in between tyre and the arch which is the biggest prob

it be alright mate they should use there brain and get some scafold boads, if you'r that low.

i went to the protyre on bath road not far from heathrow, the guy said its too low

Can you not just jack the back of the car up and slap in your old standard springs?
