anyone got an idea of the size of the inside diameter of the coolant hoses from the header tank in a x14xe.Cheers

which hose? The one at the bottom of the coolant reservoir or the pipes goint to the radiator?

Inside diameter of hose on the right side of the radiator (when standing in front of the car) is 40 mm.

I don't know about the 'S-shape' hose on the left side at the thermostat. Seems to be smaller.
