you need to sit them in oil matey!

They are probably stuck thus causing no compression!

You should put the lifters in a tub of clean oil and squeeze the plunger down inside the lifter case to fill them with oil..

there not like the 8v engines where u have to squeeze the oil out, u just fit them

remove them all and leave in tub of oil matey and then refit.

pointless doing anything else till then

2 bent valves in cylinder 2 - one was completely knackered.

Lifters are all in oil but the cams ? How do I store them ?

cams can be left as is, however be very careful as they can be quite fragile!!

yes, drop them from not an insignificant height or try to bend them and they will break
