I downloaded some tunes from woolworths and tried putting them onto my ipod but it says they are protected, any idea how i can unprotect them so i can copy to the ipod

Burn them to a cd as an audio file not data (i.e open Nero and choose to write an Audio CD)

You'll only be able to fit about 18 onto a CD.

Then put the cd back in to your computer and rip the music off the CD into mp3 using something like AudioGrabber or iTunes.

I havent done this for a while so they might have stopped you from doing it.
