c20xe when i rev it sometimes the revs dont drop as quickly as they should etc. at junctions etc.

as soon as its put in gear its fine again

same problem with mine mate. the needle just lingers for a bit before dropping, its frustrating, and im sure its effecting my mpg.

any ideas anyone?

try looking for a air leak in the induction pipe or clean out the icv

Mine used to do it occasionally if the car was hot.

Looked a right twat sitting in traffic at 4K rpm, imagine the noise with the 4" Jap can that was on the back too

mine doesnt cut out or anythin alike. might take off the full induction kit, and give it a clean

my 1.4 8v does that, I replaced the ICV, but was a second hand ICV so problem still there? could be an airleak on a 1.4?

doesnt do it often so not to bothered to be faire ill have a look while its off the road thou
