iv undone head bolts.. removed timing belt and still the head wont come off.. any ideas any one?

The cover down the side. Are you sure that you have removed all the bolts round there?
Does it lift up at all?

the side where the dizzy is lifts up slightly but the timing belt side doesnt move at all

My mates was like that. Just make sure that where the belt is (was) all the bolts are removed.
Do you have a rubber hammer? If so, when they are all removed, give the head a wack. If it's stuck on a locating dowel, that'll dislodge it.

no but theres bolts behind them holding the cover behind to the head

havnt removed them but the head should still move a bit shouldnt it, if that was the only thing holding it on?

Its prb just really tight on mate and stuck on the dowls, move it back and fourth and it will give eventually, i had the same problem with mine

Yes the pulleys must come off as there is bolts behind it
The cover behind the pulleys must move out towards the inner wing then you can remove the head

dowls are seized! Just tap the head on a corner gently wit a rubber mallet, should come up eventualy

ill try taking the pulleys off later when i go up the garage.. iv undone the bolts behine the pulleys tho
