Hi guys,
Having trouble with my clutch.
Living on a road with speed bumps i have to use it quite abit, so it gets used alot more than most peoples.
Because i use it so much, it starts to loosen off, so i have to tighten it.
So like 2 days ago, i adjusted it, but quite abit, so much so that the clutch pedal was higher than the other pedals.
Went out in it, and it just doesnt want to go into 5th, it work sometimes, but others, it just goes straight into 3rd
So adjusted it so the pedal wasnt that high, and now its still doing the same.
Any ideas whats wrong with it, and how to fix it, someone said it could need a new clutch cable, but i dunno.
Cheers
Jack

If it's going in 3rd instead of 5th, that would lead me to think it's a selector problem. Or gear linkage needs adjusting.

I had to buy a new gear linkage cos mine wasn't going into any gear unless you whacked gear stick with a sledgehammer lol

Should i take it to a vauxhall garage, or would a normal garage know about it?
