Yes I know its one of our best subjects here. I need to do mine as my EML has been on for a while and my man with the fault code reader said its the EGR. Never worried about it as the engine ran fine.
Now its judders and missfires really bad. I can still drive it so long as I'm really gentle with the throttle to much and the juddering/kangarooing comes back.
So can this still be just the EGR?

have you checked ur battery connections? mine done this started boucin like a twat! i found out my negative terminal was slightly lose! stupid but worth a look

yer those are the symptoms of an egr problem. Blank the fucker off and be done with it :Thumbs:

blanking it off wont help as the EM light will still be on and the fault will still be threr.
Common cause for your symptoms as well, its usually solved by removing the EGR valve and cleaning it, if that doesnt work then I have loads of the things spare that are known to be in working order.
