Fitted my coilovers a few nights ago, but unhappy with how its handling.
Bearing in mind its still needs the tracking done, and its still on 14"s, the handling is crap, jumps all over the road and likes to go straight on corners
Too hard/low?

Get the tracking done and camber checked, then try it.

i'm not a fan of coilovers on the road. Too much to be adjusted...and most just drop it all the way and turn up the dampers. There has to be some give!...
If you've got it low and hard, raise it and soften it up a tad...so you've got some roll to throw the car into the corners...

Understeers. Tyres are in decent condition, just a shit tyre though.
Shall fiddle with it atm, then see how I can improve it once I get some new wheels + tyres.

You'll be amazed at how much the smallest of adjustments on tracking and camber makes. Get it done
If the car is trying to drive in two seperate directions it's not going to handle very well.

Adam, they are janspeed ones. The handling is much better now than it was, think it was just much too low at the front. Tracking and camber will be done tomorrow.

raise the back, the back HAS to be higher than the front on a FWD car

Having them set at there lowest wont help.
You cant adjust stiffness on Janspeed coilovers.

It had too much toe in, thats why. It would also scrub the outer edge of the front tyres.
