Hi noticed lately its getting car into 1st sometimes 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th fine but 1st can be very stiff now and again any ideas?

Clutch cable on its way out or selector needs adjusting

Mine pretty much has the same problem but I always thought it was the linkage.

I had a look round forums and looked in haynes manual an i think the clutch cable may need adjusting.Looked in my car and the clutch is lower than the brake it says in haynes it should be slighty higher.Im no mechanic but it shouldnt be to hard.
