Hi all, i need to ask for some information, i have the gearbox from a 1995 Corsa B SRi 1.4 16v (ecotec), but i dont know which gearbox it is,
i've looked in the haynes manual and its says the SRi previous to '95 could be engine codes:
C14NZ with F10/5 WR
C14SE with F13/5 CR
and '95 onward could be:
C14NZ with F13/5 WR
C14SE with F13/5 CR
X14XE with F13/5 CR
X14SZ with F13/5 CR
which of these engine codes should be correct i'm mainly wondering since the car is registered in '95 on an N plate, if its ecotec should it be the ones after '95 and the X14XE since its a 16v?

it will be a x14xe engine and if you look on the box it will say on it what it is

i tried looking on the box, it's either not there or its just too dirty to find it, i'm gonna have to clean it eventually so i guess i'll find it eventually
