can some one tell me why on my c20let some times it boosts 1bar and it runs sweet as a nut and boosts fine...... then for some reason it wont go past 0.5 bar and its just a constand hold back?

dodgy amal valve?
any boost leaks? do you do anything for it too clear or does it only do it when warm or cold?

in the daytime its boosts at 1bar but at night it doesnt want to

have you got an external dump valve? mine was doin this as the dumpvalve had slid off the top hat slightly and was leaking boost.
you can make yourself a boost leak finder.
get a bit of hard boost pipe, drill a hole in the middle of it, fit a car tyre valve fit into your boost pipe system temporarily, use a foot pump pump to 15 psi and listern for leaks, also see if the pressure holds

its wierd coz on full throttle it boots to 0.5 bar you let off the throttle and back on again then it goes all the way too 1bar and is fine! could this be the amal valve ?

cam some 1 put a pic off which way the 2 wires go round and 2 pipes ?
