Driving home from work earlier and when I went to go over 3500 revs the car decided it didnt want to. Just kind of jolts you forward. EML came on so checked it when I got home and got

1-2, 1-2,1-2 (Initiation of diagnosis)

1-9, 1-9, 1-9 (Crank Angle Sensor) Pretty sure thats an old code because when I check the codes befor xmas this came up so I swapped it for the one off my old engine.

3-5, 3-5, 3-5 (Idle stepper motor)

Any ideas what that is? And would it cause the problem that I described above

Ok, bit of research says that stepper motor is the idle controll valve. Could this cause the problem I had though?

Sorted now, was a loose conection, just need to change the ICV now and that should get rid of that code
