Is this do-able and what are the benifits??

Is there another gearbox other than the factory fitted one that will give good acceleration etc??

Also would i need the clutch kit for the donor gearbox or for the engine its going on??

E.g F13 gearbox with 1.2 16v clutch or F13 gearbox with the 1.6 16v clutch??

You can put the f13 on no problem, with a 3.9 or 4.18 cw+p, it will improve accelaration.

Presuming the flywheel isnt a pot type^

Will fit and due to the final drive etc as said above, acceleration will improve. 70mph cruisng revs might go up though.

70mph revs will be 3500rpm

It will accelrate faster but lower top end over the standard F15 box.

Use the standard corsa gsi clutch

The F13/15/17 bell houses are the same iirc just different ratios!

what would you be looking at top end compared to standard one??
