Ana in tv mag some 1 had same problem nd its was valves or sumit lyk that they were stuck

engines run very hot when they are running lean on air also when spark plugs have white crystals on them that also realates to running lean on air, i dont really no y it would be doing this but im pretty sure its the cause my old ax vtr did the same thing. dan

found the issue took the crank pully off to find no problem so took the timing belt off to find bottom crank cog had started cutting into its own key hence knocking all timing out

Dam you, i was about to post ' take your bottom pulley off and look from the inside' lmao. Ive had 3 go on me now. In the end i sold the engine, but my mate who bought it off me put a little weld where the key waz and hammered it on, fucker hasnt broke yet lmao.
