got a astra mk4 1.8 16v on a 2003 ever now and again the traction control light will come on and also eml will show and the car will begin to missfire, this is getting worse.

weve had it plugd in to diagnostics machine and its saying coil pack changed the coil pack twice with new 1ns and no luck.

we have traced the wiring back and there no breaks etc.

we are stuck with what to do with the car now we where thinking of a new ecu, we just want someone to say this is the problem but noone can

You could speak to Camco . They're ECU specialists and may know of a common problem or be able to look at your car/ECU. They're only on the M62 next to Ikea so not too far from you.
