As title says, the MFD goes off or becomes intermittent when i turn my lights on...any ideas?

Try adjusting your dimmer.

I had the same fault, ended up cutting the illumination wire lol

Same fault here turns out was my dimmer lol but it goes out when head unit is on?

might sound stupid but have you had a look at fuse 1?
