this is really narking me off now, something so simple..
been under the car in all weathers on many different occasions over the past 2 month and have tried different bits of exhausts on...
currently got a stainless 4.1 (wich i know is crap for ground clearance but is better than a smashed standard one i supose), mild steel de-cat that i had to grind and file like feck to make it fit the stainless centre with silencer and a decent back box...
forget about all the other bits i had on as i'd rather have a good stainless centre than and mild steel one that only fits the stainless de-cat iv got. the problem i have is lining it all up so its not touching the axle too much and so it doesn't make the horrible noise its making when going round right hand bends/roundabouts. already adjusted it twice
going to have a 3rd attempt at lining up the set up i got now and then im going to lose the plot with it altogether.
you can even see how much its moved over from were it was...

now the tailpipe is rattling off the car
any advice if you've had this problem or similar is much appreciated, already got a flat strip of rubber cable tied to the axle which only has a few mm clearance
think you could say im exhausted
cheers

other than keep adjusting it. when u adjust it again have u tried adjusting it at the cat joint, a tiny amount there can make a huge differnce at the back, mine very rarely bangs now
