when will people ever get to grips with this - performance plugs do absolutely sweet fuck all except remove additional money from your pocket.

Performance plugs simply last longer they do sweet FA for performance!
The multi tipped ones have more tips so that they last longer thats it!

Actually performance spark plugs do help but only on very highly tuned engines due to the air fuel mixture being of a higher quantity.

Vauxhall plugs are about £2 each.

I've had bosch super 4's break up on me, i've learnt my lesson.

NGK manufacture about 90% of the OE plugs, all they change is the stamp. Vauxhaull wont even manufacture their own. Splitfire's are no better than the twin electrode NGK's that most Vauxhaull's use.
