as above really, looking for a small, slim battery for a corsa b v6... theres no lights, no wipers, no heaters, no radio or any of that heavy unwanted stuff...
i was looking at the likes of the varley red top slim ones but wondering is there a cheaper and still sufficient power option
whats people make of these?

iv even seen one of the same size for around £30-40ish in my local motor factors...
sorry im not too clued up on electrical stuff but if you can point me and my small budget in the rite direction it'd be a big help

Mitsubishi FTOs are 2.0 V6s but run off of a Micra Battery.
They're slimline HBO54 i think.

i know it sounds stupid but look at a mobility scooter battery , my mate has a honda track car and he bought one today for £32 of ebay new and fitted it and it starts great , no problem with it, and its very light

and is it possible you could get a link/item no.. off him please ben? if its tested and proven to do its job id rather buy it than regular ebay tat

cant seem to find one... i see what you mean after google image searching them though, yet there's none on ebay that look that small, smallest ones under 'Mitsubishi FTO battery' look the same size as the standard corsa one thats on...

Just go into Halfords and ask for the Micra Battery HB054.

Nice job. I'd be tempted to slide a sheet of polycarb or similar down the side of it in case you get anything thrown up off the wheel.
What is that fitment? Was going to say MX5 is also small - that's what's in this pic

going to chop out the old battery tray all together and just mount it with this ^^
measurements are inside the link ian, its tiny but heard they crank the engines fine 
fits behind my new bumper too
