Do we get a smaller shelf (under the glove box) than all the other corsa's??
And do u have a light in your glove box?
I seem to have the cut out for the glove box light but no light! and i can't see any wiring. I'm gonna take out the glove box and investigate it

Mine's got a shelf thats pretty small (aint looked at others really) and is also missing the glove box light.
Its an S-reg 1.6 sport with air con.

I'm missing the entire glovebox for an aircon fitted model, anyone got one for sales... or know the part number so i can get a price!

ive got a T reg 1.6 sport with air con and its not got a light in the glove box(possibly coz its so small!) and that shelf under the glove box is a joke (although it does hold a 500 ml bottle of vanilla coke well 
The tray under the passenger seat is handy if you wanna look like youre a thief when u want something outta it

i have an r reg 1997 1.6 sport, which has a normal sized shelf and no light tho it has the cutout for it

I don't get it. it's a 1.6 sport so it's the top of the range in that model! yet it had no glove box light, a small tray compared to other models and the centre console has no pocket!!!
WTF's all that about?????

small tray is due to air con, pocket you refer to is due to power steering

i had a 1.4 16v gls. had the shelf under the glove box and the try under the seat. didnt have air con tho

Got small shelf and no air con
No glove box light either.
I went to a scrappy and got a light and bulb and then couldn't find any wires
So got the light fitted but doesn't work

flipmo, the lack of pocket in front of the gearstick is to do with the control unit for the airbag

nope, the placcy fittings are the same for left hand drive corsas..
I have spare shelf if anyone wants to fit one there

My GSI has been in a thousand peices in the past as as i have done things, i always find wires that aint connected to ought, like i got wires for heated seats and all sorts, the plug is even there in the dash awaiting a switch!!!

i think if i remember right vauxhall used to install full looms into the corsas but to cut cost they stopped doing it after R-registered cars

Thats probably why then matey bit of a bugger if ya want to upgrade things, i aint got electric windows or mirrors but all the wires are there!!
gonna get full electrics one day.
