TBH i have shelled enough out and at least the engine will be practically rebuilt, so not much else can go wrong

wat they didnt notice the bent valves in the first place when they noticed the insulation tape? sounds like a con. also why would your valves just bend unless your cambelt snapped or the timing was badly out, which would cause a heavy powerloss.
