I bought a sony 'harness' from Halfords. Pluged in fine.
It would then not turn on at all So I was told to swap the two live wires around.
- Constant Battery one.
- Ignition/Switched.
Today I have done that and now I have power going in to the headunit, the motorised front works and it bleeps.
PROGRESS I thought
But it will not turn on I have tested the wires with a circuit tester which shows that they are both live.
After fiddling around I noticed that when I have the key in the 1st position OFF. and a slight amount of pressure anti clock-wise it works perfect, when I let go it turns off.
Have I got a problem in my ignition?
Are the wires wrong by any chance?
Thanks for any help possible......
