its hard to explain but my car seems to be holding back when i go to accelerate then all of a sudden it shoots off

Dont know if its the way im driving lol but ive never noticed this before its just happened all of a sudden

anyone got any ideas

mine to, dangerous the other day nipped out infront of car and then all of a sudden the power went then came back up and i pulled away! CRAZY CORSA

I get that but the ECU light comes on when its happening
