Has anyone got any tips on how toincrease the top speed of my car??

I was on the M1 last night and i got up to 100 mph and it was like my needle was stuck. It just would not go any faster. I was doing that speed for about 2 miles.

The engine and zorst are standard apart from a K&N air filter. Not looking to put a new engine or anything major like that just little mods.

replace head, manifolds, loom and ecu... c14se lumps give 82 bhp standard, mine will do an indicated 120mph

To increase the top speed you change the final gear in the gear box, simple enough. Engine tuning wont increase the top speed unless you change the gearbox. Obviously you would have to have the correct ammount of torque going into the 'box though to get the wheels rolling.

?? An F13 will have a top speed of 130mph as standard with standard 6500rpm rev limit. He needs more power and torque, not a higher FD

What does it matter if it only goes to 100? The highest speed limit is 70mph.

yeah but going that much over is gonna loose you your licnece anyway! My car will go over 100 but i dont use it. I'd be more worried about acceleration otherwise eventually you'll loose your licence!
