does anybody either have an instructions manual or know how to loosen the spring on the trottle opener.
ive been driving the car for 3 weeks now and i still havent got used the fecken thing  i keep reving the car to high a traffic lights etc. and look and sound like i want to dice everybody around me or somebody whos learning to drive

if its the return spring that is mounted by hooking it over a bracket on the front of the power box just remove the spring the throttle body has its own return mechanism

nah i've tryed removing that...
its the main spring i wanna try and slacken a bit......
the pedal is erm... stiff so i have to push harder than normal then it plops half way down suddenly and i hit 4000RPM sitting in the traffic and people look... its embarrasing.....

give the sring a good clean and re-oil is up see if that helps, sounds like the position of the spring is causing it to snatch, might be the throttle cable position/angle
