Can anyone tell me where I've gone wrong? I installed my sub & 2 channel amp earlier, but instead of the bass coming through the sub it seems to be coming through the standard rear speakers??? It's a Corsa C. I previously had the same sub & amp in my old car which had no rear speakers and it worked ok. Can anyone give me any advice?
Thanks in advance

The RCA's, I plugged the white plug into the white terminal, and the red plug into the red terminal, both on the same row aswell (there are 2 pre-outs and also a pre-out for a sub). I tried the pre-out for the sub but the same happens.

Sounds like a Pioneer problem, you got a pioneer HU?

Ally, my HU is an Alpine one. I had a thought earlier that it could be a problem with the remote wire, as there's a power light on my JBL amp and it isn't lighting up. My Corsa is a new one, and therefore one which has the new non-ISO wiring (was a bit of a nightmare fitting the Alpine HU!). I connected the remote wire to a blue & white wire which was labelled up as the remote turn on wire though so I can't really see that this could be the problem?
However I pulled out the RCA leads earlier and when I did it made a popping sound as though there was electricity there?? Also more bass seems to be coming from the rear speakers compared to before I had put the sub & amp in, so maybe there is power getting to the amp, just don't understand why the power light isn't lighting up?
andy, never thought of doing that but I'll give it a go and see what happens.
Cheers for the replies!

Could well be the earth actually . Couldn't really find a good place to connect the earth so used somewhere on the back of the back seats, and I wasn't sure whether or not it was actually connected to the actual chassis or not. I'll try moving it to somewhere else. Cheers for the help.
