mornin folks, just wonderin what peoples opinions are regarding replacement front disks. wether to go for some off another vuaxhall (2l probably) which i think are plain, or maybe grooved and/or drilled. have been lookin atthe black diamond range but aint sure of the best direction to go in. my mate had drilled n grooved ebc disks with green stuff pads but said they were sticky when cold, n the noise they made would annoy the hell outta me. '00 1.6 sport by the way, cheers guys

fit some 2 litre calipers, either brembo max or standard GM discs with some mintex 1144 pads.

I used that combination and it was exellent

im just abit sceptical about fitting secondhand brake parts, are callipers something that dont really wear out? there does seem to be loads of people that have gone down that route, just wanna be as sure as i can before i part with my hard earnt cash. cheers for the reply matey

would these also fit the sport, only askin as they are marked on the site as gsi. silly question probably but got 2 ask

I bought new calipers, they are about £70 each.

i would get standard mintex discs and 1144 pads.

gsi discs are bigger so dont think they will fit the standard caliper.
