other then brining on the engine management light does this have any benefits performance wise, i remember hearing somewhere it does?

nope, doesn't have any benefits tbh, will over fuel or run lean cant remember which

why would you remove it? its a very important sensor, without it your engine will run very rich.

How do u re-fit this sensor when u fit a inlet, because you have to get the cav 1.7TD intake pipe

There is no air flow sensor on the X16 engine. It uses a MAP sensor. The sensor in the intake pipe is the Air temp sensor.

Oh right, is there a air temp senor on the intake pipe of a cav?

Yep.

There is a hole for the sensor to go into on the Cav pipe. It's a bit of a tight fit though. We had to shave some rubber out to make it a bit bigger.

Be careful with the sensor though, they are a bit flimsy.

Got ya, do i need it off the vaux engine or izuzu engine?

You need to use the one from your X16.

All you need from the Cav is the pipe. Heres a pic of mine: -



You can see the sensor at the top if the intake pipe.

Yeh I know all I need is that pipe. But I rang up the scrappy and he said 'vaux or izuzu engine, as there different' I Said ''any'', then he said ''u havent got a clue what your talking about''

So, was yours of the vaux or izuzu engine?
