You can just swap the cams with nothing else if you want.
Assuming they'll fit on standard pistons, and will clear the casts inside the head.

Which set of cams to get depends entirely on engine spec/what you want from it etc.

I have the same engine

Dont bother with cams yet.
IMO best plan is:
inlet manifolds, exhaust manifold/system, cams, remap/ecu

ive got an exhaust manifold and full exhaust system, i have got to fit new lifters as mine are tapping really bad, so just thought as ive got to remove the cam shafts i mite aswell fit something like kent or piper cams (which ever are best for performance ie fast road) dont really wanna fit an inlet as im happy with the standard one.

Thats called shooting yourself in the foot

The best gains you can get apart from TB's/Carbs is an aftermarket inlet. If you do anything else on a standard inlet theres no point IMO. Been there, done that.

im not really interested in the aftermarket (ebay inlets) to much arsin about swopping things about and having to fit an x16xe lower inlet.
but do fancie the lexmaul inlet, do they fit straight onto the c16xe lower inlets? you dont have to move the tb with the lexmaul do you?

I started mine friday at 6pm after work. Had it almost finished by 10pm, just a few things to wire up on Saterday.

That was taking it easy and not busting my knuckles
