know how it works if keeping car as it is - ie: engine etc
need to know how it works and if possible if
- get a cat c car
- do engine conversion
- get engineers report ?
- then VIC check
- notify DVLA aswell about vehicle changes
is the engineers report of work carried out (inc engine change ) acceptable as the info on the data base will different from the car when they do the VIC check ??

Whats a VIC check? You just send the DVLA the new engine size to adjust your tax and and tell them the new engine number if you wish

i already put 1 car on road (was a cat-c)
just need to know if changing the engine before mot and vic check will change things

Im not sure mate i have done 2 vic but the engines were standard if i was you i would take it for a VIC with the standard engine in it Once its vic'ed then do your engine conversion. Thas really the only way around it then notify the DVLA after you have done the transplant

so will DVLA update info about the vehicle ie: new engine
so that when VIC test is done info matches up with what inspector see's
