This was mentioned in a previous thread I read but I can't remember how it was taken off??
Mine isnt off yet an manged to stab myself with a knife in the process

i had to drill a pilot hole, then jigsaw one side at the joint, then lever the rest of with a big screwy!

yeah mines a 98 model and it was solid i spent hours trying to just lever it off!! it didnt happen!!

Mines an R reg and i've done my mates which it a T reg and the both come off with a big flat blade screwdriver and a hammer. Takes about 10secs.

Mines T reg and was solid, was so frustrated and smacked it in with a hammer broke the seal and it fell off. You know how the saying goes........

I broke the seal with a screwdriver with mine, then it just clipped out.

Managed to get it off today there! Has anyone who has done it had any problems withs AFMs??

Aye I got it off, gave a real crac/snap sound when it came off lol Its a 1.2 16v....doesnt seem as fast now that I've had the licence 3 months lol
Btw does anybody know the general prices for 1.2 16v AFM's??(Just incase )
