A bastard, it's on a par with trying to get your cock through the middle of a CD. 
Best to get a threaded bar and a series of nuts, put a nut and flat plate on one side, drop the bush on and then put a nut and large washer on the other side and wind it in.

It'd be easier to just swap the full arm, They're not expensive and save a lot of arsing about.
If you do swap the bushes then a strong Vice is a must imho.
