as above...

on my mams corsa 1 litre 12v she was on her way to work and the clutch pedal just flopped on the floor and stopped working?? after she tryed to pull away from a junction..

the AA man came out and adjusted the clutch on top of the gear box right to the top now the clutch sits much higher then normal works totally fine just bite point is right at the top??

i have not a clue on this?? will this just be the pedal inside the car need replacing because clutch is fine my mam said it just click/snapping noise like a little peace of plastic snapping??? if that makes any sense?

so am thinking/guessing the clutch is fine just something on pedel broken because he also put a cable tie on the pedal some were to get her home

shes been using it for a week and its ok bar the pedal nearly hitting the sun roof haha

any clues the info is best explain sorry inadvance

any 1litre pro's out there

It was probably just the cable coming off of the pedal, it can happen occasionally on Corsas. You can adjust the bite point of the clutch by playing with the cable where it attaches to the gearbox. You have to move the clip out of the way then turn the little block thing to adjust the bite point. I'm not sure which way you need to turn it though so try a little bit in one direction and try it out then go from there. You may also need a spanner to turn it in case it's stiff

yeah mate thats what the AA man done, but i need the pedal inside the car to sit flush with the rest of the pedals?

is there a little clip on the pedal are something because feels like something is missing/snapped off it? how does the pedal inside the car work/operate?
