As above and thinking of getting a xe dropped in as its going to be alot to get it fixed. as you can understand this day and age im on a budget so need it minimal on pricing as possible but dont want to stinge out anywhere. any advice people can give me? or people after getting rid of their XE? Thanks

well putting in an xe is not going to be cheap how ever you look at it,
you need the engine,mounts,sharfts,gear box,ecu,new spring to handle the weight,bigger brakes,new feul pump.
some people like to have the engine bay seam weldded plus while the engine is out the car most go about rebuilding it just so they know everything is new.
If you got most parts cheap ish your probly looking at 1800 - 2000 pounds to get it done and runing rite

you could if know of a good runner and buy bits 2nd hand maybe do it for about £600-700 though, maybe even less.
but a rebuilt motor is about £900 but thats with balancing, headwork etc if i did it
