Hello all, my cars a little lumpy and currently gettin arouns 280 miles to a tank, its had a recent service etc and sometimes when i stop i have a petrol smell and i cant work out where from, neone had somthing similar?

kinda dont wanna expload!

280 miles per tank,

i shruggle to get 250 in mine.

I done a whole tank in 170 miles

280 miles to a tank doesn't sound too bad really. I got to Billing and back from Wetherby on a full tank and had a little left afterwards, so i probably got nearly 300 miles to my tank, and mines an X16XE with induction kit and exhaust system

mines completely standard and most of the miles are 70mph on a dual carriage way my c16xe gsi used to get around 350 and i drove it like i stole it

I'd have a look at this as well, mines been struggling to idle when starting it recently and runs a bit lumpy so i'm checking my coilpack
