Bought a set of gaz coilovers and fitted the fronts today, adjusted them all the way down but its sitting like its only been lowered 40mm and it seems to be sitting on the bumpstop at the top of the shock and not on the spring and the spring has no pressure on the spring! Have i done something wrong or should i just take the rubber out? Thanks

Is that the yellow rubber bit that sits ontop of the shock inside the spring? Cheers

Are the springs loose when the cars on the floor chris or just when its jacked up?

Gaz's dont have helper springs Darrell

Loose when its on the floor! Was going to ask you shaun but you only have rears and you have the more expensive ones to mine

Just looked at the pics again, do you know if they are the short bodied ones are standard spec ones mate?

I wouldnt remove the bumpstops completely but you could cut them down to give you more travel Heard of quite of few people doing this with their gaz's

But it sits super high? Spring isnt being compressed atall? :/

I think its because they arent short body ones dude Have a look in this thread -

Says that the standard ones wont go much lower than -45mm but says cutting down the bump stops should help a bit

Yeah I think thats the only way you're going to sort it bud. This link shows a photo of how much someone has cut off theirs to give you an idea
