Hi guys! Need help!
Tonight I was happily driving along and all of a sudden power to the engine cut out and the EML comes on.
I roll to the kerb-side, switch the key to the off position, wait a few seconds and try to turn it back on..
The engine ticks over and over and over, but doesn't fire up. Tried thisd a few times and stupidly drained the battery
Any particular reason why it would just all of a sudden do this?
It's a 1.2 SXi with about 91k on the clocks.

Thanks for the reply. The RAC guy is going to take a look at it soon, but hopefully it's something simple as a relay or sensor which could easily be replaced. I shall report back with what he says..

Suspected fuel pump failure. He did say he got the multi meter on fuel relay and at first he couldn't get a reading, but gave it a 12v blast and it kicked back in. Gonna replace the relay anyway and source a fuel pump.
