since the start of the year my car has been back in the gatrage 4 times with the same problem! first time they told me that the CAT had gone and i needed a new one, the part alone cost £300, then some lead had gone, cost bout £50. got it back only to find they had hit the bumper when they had drove it up the road, they did fix for free. got it back afta a week and then the same problem as i had originally occured, so i took it back. they sed that the sensor just above the CAT had gone and charged me for that as well (can't remember price). got it back and within a week the same thing occured, took it back and they reset the ECU for free. had it back again and within a couple of weeks the exact same thing went wrong again. so i took it in on monday, been ringing all week to see when its done and they kept saying we're still searching for the problem. final rang atr lunchtime today and they sed its ready. went to pick it up and it wasn't. had to wait 15 mins while they finished it. they admitted that they had crashed it again and it had been in bodyshop for the front bumper to get resprayed. drove it home and thought i'd check it only to find that they'd missed a huge crack! went back and they tried to say it wasn't them! anyway they r fixing at the mo. should i pay for the part that they fitted this week? its gonna cost near on £300.
sorry bout essay!

What's next, Rogue Garages?
Sounds like they have been ripping you off. Free ECU reset, woopie.

I'd change garage mate and certainly wouldn't pay them! is it a fanchise/well known garage or a back street type one?
