got me self another corsa last nite!! yey  its a K Reg LS with 130,000 miles, (1.2 8v) the rocker cover gasket is leaking, i have another 1.2 8v engine in my P reg corsa, would it be ok to swap the rocker covers cos the other one isnt leaking, or is it best to buy a new one, how much about are they? any ideas?
eventually when the k reg engine fucks up, il b putting my other engine in as it only has 56000 miles and its still workin!
im still breaking my p reg, so u2u me if u want anything, not gonna scrap old car until everything possible is sold!

i got a 16v one from vauxhall for 15pounds.....so an 8v one must be cheaper than that

rocker gasket bout a 5er from motorfactors... think it'll be the cork one

It will be cork - only later-spec 1.4 8v's come with the rubber gasket, all 1.2's were cork...
literally is £8-£10 from local factors, and a 5 min job to do!

get a new one
and torque it down in the correct sequence
also spend some time cleaning the surfaces then it wont leak
