hi everyone, i havent been on here in awhile cos i been busy joining raf, i now have more need for a decent car, my k reg corsa b is just becoming too much of a problem and im now looking at getting a corsa c, i have found this in my local car sales place, -

53 plate Corsa C
1.2i 16v SXI
IRmscher bodykit
32000 miles
Very good condition

£5750

i only have around £3500 to spend, is it worth getting a loan on this car seen as im only 19, even though im in the raf and can afford it, does this car sound good, will i get problems with it, whats best way to get a loan?
i know its alot of questions but any advice i would be gratefull, thank you

They're not rare so shop around until you find one which you're completely happy with. Also it may be worth saving instead of getting a loan, you're only really 2k short and a loan for that amount will have a high interest rate. Ideally you would want to take that over 12-18 months max to avoid paying back a far larger percentage than you borrowed.

just a standard pack, lip, rear spoiler, fuel cap sticker i badge and exhaust, reason you got it cheap too was because it was a pre-facelift version...facelift did come out at 53 reg, but urs are the very few older style cars registered in that year...u misded out on facelift DE headlights worth £400, which is a main thing, and the facelifts had less black body coloured bits

YOU CAN TELL ITS NOT THE IRMSCHER EDITION AS IT HAS STANDARD SIDESKIRTS. lOOKS LIKE SOMEONE JUST PUT ADD ONS. sHAME IT HAS THE PRE-FACELIFT LOOK.

BROUGHT MINE A FEW MONTHS AGO BRAND NEW AND I LOVE THE LOOK OF THE NEW LIGHTS AND THE TWO BUMPERS ARE VERY MUCH DIFFERENT. PLUS IF IT WAS THE IRMSCHER EDITION WOULDNT IT HAVE THE IRMSCHER FRONT BUMPER?

looks tidy...as peeps have mentioned it has the irmy sports pack that u can get from dealers, still makes it a lil different!

oh irmy dont do a grille for the pre-facelift and there is no expectation for irmy skirts unless they were requested fom the dealer at a stupid cost!

yeha its a defo improvement to a corsa b for sure.

Well first few things i would do to it is get:

new style headlights.
Arches and skirts colour coordinated
lose the very tacky fuel cap cover(all to their own on that one) think it ruins the look of the car.
since you have old shape corsa go for the irmscher rear bumper for sure. wish i could on my 05 corsa.

buy a new petrol cap dont think they are too expensive. or do a swap with someone who likes that look that maybe the best option. then u get rid of it and someone feels happy they have it. (will feel sorry for them tho LOL) sorry just really dont like those stickers?!?!

i pulled mine off, left some marks tho, best way is to take it off the car, undo the 2 torx screws, heat the sticker with a hairdryer until its really hot, i mean really hot...so that the metal warms the glue, then slightly pull, and use something soft to wedge between the sticker and fuel cap

they are on the same as the fuel cap really using a hair dryer is the best way for bumper strips petrol cap and also the badges on the rear of the car. make sure you heat them up good and the bumper strips just slide. thats when you know its hot enough. dont pulll them should come off easy.
