I have laquered a bumper an it is a little bobbly on one side do i need to

a] rub it down and re laquer
b] rub down and polish up

also how do you use g3 compound do you mix it wiv water or apply directly onto surface then buff up

advice needed - cheers Cc

g3 is used with water i think? you apply it then buff it with a wet buffing head

Are they runs in the paint, or similar (like F.L.A.)? If so, you should have enough laquer on the surface, providing you did enough coats, to just sand off the runs with some 1500 grit wet and dry using soapy water. You could then go over it with some compund to get the paint all shiney or you could keep on sanding using lighter and lighter grades of wet and dry and soapy water (you could go as far as 3000 grit if you wanted too!)

no not runs in the paint texture feels as though gun is spitting but only get this result with laquer not with paint

You might be able to get that out just using compound, it's impossible to say without having a look though...

Rubbed it down with 800 w n d used it dry then put on g3 compound buffed it up

are u meant to take the compound off with a wet cloth or dry
