a mate's car has a bit of a problem. looses power between 2000rpm until 5k.

idles ok (700-800rpm) and drives fine up until 2-5k then judders and almost all power is lost. car is a standard facelift breeze.. not sure if its a 1.0 or 1.2. has had new plugs, oil and fuel filter t'other week.

at a guess EGR sensor?
