Right where do i start. my car has been running shit. wouldnt pull much and then one day it just died manifold went red etc so i told it was the cat. got the cat took out and it was fine for a few hours but still didnt feel like it should do. then it just died and sounded like a diesel with a knocking sort of noise form cam belt area. took ot all of and had a look but couldnt see anything. it doesnt rev very well up until about 2.5rpm but it takes ages to get there and revs fine after it. there is also a strong smell of petrol. we are going to have a look today so any sugestions what it could be?
