what size tyres are you using? my new wheels are 7.5j x 17 and im wondering what tyre size to go for without scrubbing on my arches.
my wheels are et39

that might be 205m width or 225mm can't remember.
i've got 205/40/17 and they used to scrub badly over bumps until i cut the bolts and glued on the plastic arch thing, now it only scrubs with people in the back over bumps, my offset i don't know

my arches dont have any bolts in as have been removed and arch smoothed over

mine are 205/40/17 there is no rubbin on the back what so ever but it aint lowered

60mm so yeah you will get scrubbage with wide wheels another way to sort this is to trim back the metal to the bolt holes

mines on 205/40/17 and lowered 30mm, never rubbed on arches but its a corsa C

you are probably going to have to try pulling the arches out a bit, i had et35 17's with 205 tyres on mine and down at 40mm it scrubbed like a badger
i reccomend pulling the arches and looking into thinner tyres, maybe a 185/175 to gain some extra clearance

u can get some wierd sizes in 17 inch in nankang tyres if your not so fussed about race car grip??
