Hello all,
My corsa b 1.0 (2000) makes a annoying tapping noise just wondered if an oil change would at least improve it because at the min it sounds like a tank!
Its just done over 100k miles... i know thats a lot for a 1.0.
Should i use 10/40 or 15/40?
Mineral / Semi or / Full ?
Any particular brand?
And how much oil should i get? Also would i need a new oil filter?

iirc the timing chains can make a similiar noise on the 1.0

ok, are these hard ro replace? how much on average would a garage charge? also anyone with oil advice?

Timing chains are stupidly expensive im lead to believe.

They all sound a bit tappey.
As for oil, i personally use Vauxhalls own 10w/40
|
